Unveiling the Essence of Purim

Chazal tell us to drink on Purim until we can't tell "cursed is Haman" from "blessed is Mordechai." Why would we want to blur that, when the Rambam warns against losing yourself to wine? And why does the Megillah keep returning to the same pattern: Haman's own plan, ring and hanging, turns back on him?The Ramchal's idea of why Hashem made a world that looks like it has opposing forces answers both questions at once.
