Being in Control of Ourselves

Why was Yosef holding himself back from revealing who he was, and what do the words "in the presence of all who stood before him" add to the pasuk? And when Yosef is rushed out of the dungeon, why does the pasuk switch to say he shaved and changed on his own? Rabbi Asaf Prisman builds on the Kli Yakar and the Shem MiShmuel to show what was happening inside Yosef. It is about acting on impulse, in anger or in joy, and the regret that follows. He ends with three gedolim: Rav Chaim Kanievsky on a Chol HaMoed of loss, Rav Simcha Zissel Broide struck by a snowball outside the yeshiva in Chevron, and Rav Steinman locked out by a boy who refused to believe it was him.
